If you go to Amsterdam, you have to visit the A’Dam Lookout, undoubtedly one of the most beautiful places in the city. I went there recently and I can assure you that the views are out of this world. From the top you have a 360-degree view of everything: the canals, the harbour, the city centre and even the countryside if the weather is good. It’s the perfect place to take amazing photos and soak in all the beauty Amsterdam has to offer.

But best of all, they have an amazing swing called Over the Edge. And yes, it is exactly what it sounds like. You literally swing from the side of the building, 100 metres up! At first I wasn’t sure I could do it, but the adrenaline rush was worth it. Plus, I got some amazing photos of me swinging over the city. If you like thrills, you can’t miss it.

After the swing, I headed to the rooftop bar to relax and have a drink. The atmosphere is very relaxed, and having a cocktail while enjoying the views? Perfect. You can even grab a bite to eat at the restaurant if you get hungry after all the excitement.

Getting there is very easy: just take a ferry from Amsterdam Central Station and you’ll be there in a matter of minutes. Honestly, the whole experience was amazing and I can’t recommend it enough. If you’re looking for a mix of thrills, amazing views and a great atmosphere, the A’Dam viewing platform is the place to be.
